To use theoretical and practical knowledge from concepts to realization in the field of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering to serve as valuable resource for industry and society at national and international levels.


To generate qualified and trained manpower in the field of Electronics and Instrumentation by using latest technology and science  to its fullest extent so that intellectually capable and imaginatively gifted leaders can be created professionally to undertake collaborative projects.

UG Programme Outcome (PO):-


PO 1 :

Engineering knowledge: Apply knowledge of computing, mathematics and engineering fundamentals to solve complex problems in IT domain.

PO 2 :

Problem analysis: Identify and analyze the complex problems related to IT and able to formulate/model appropriate solutions for it.

PO 3 :

Design/Development of solutions: Design and develop solutions for complex engineering problems of IT; design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety and the cultural societal and environmental considerations

PO 4 :

Conduct Investigations of Complex problems: Use research–based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and

interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PO 5 :

Modern Tool Usage: select and apply appropriate techniques and modern engineering tools to solve information technology related complex engineering problems.

PO 6 :

The engineer and society: Apply Reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess the local and global society issues relevant to IT professional practice.

PO 7 :

Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PO 8 :

Ethics: apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

PO 9 :

Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual and as a member or leader in diverse teams and in multi-disciplinary settings.

PO 10 :

Communication: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large such as able to comprehend and with write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations and give and receive clear instructions.

Project management and finance: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multi-disciplinary environments

UG Programme Educational Objective (PEO):-


PEO 1:

To provide theoretical and practical knowledge to analyse real life problems and suggest appropriate solutions are technically sound, economically feasible and socially acceptable in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering field.


To prepare students for getting jobs in government, public and private sectors in related fields of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.


To prepare students for qualifying competitive examinations like GATE for further studies, UPSC, State PSCs and other competitive exams etc. for good placements in the best available jobs.


To encourage the students for higher studies in India as well as abroad.


To develop the skills to become an entrepreneur.


To develop professional approach, ethical attitude, communication skills, team work and leadership quality and adapt to latest trends by engaging in continuous learning.


PG Programme Outcome (PO):-

PO 1 :

An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.

PO 2 :

An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.

PO 3 :

Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.


PG Programme Educational Objective (PEO):-

PEO 1:

Identify and apply appropriate Electronic Design Automation (EDA)  to solve real world  problems in  Microelectronics and VLSI domain  to create innovative products and systems.


Pursue career in research in Microelectronics and VLSI Design  domain  through self learning and self directed on cutting edge technologies.


To provide a well-rounded education that includes communication skills, the ability to function well on a team, an appreciation for ethical behavior, and the ability to engage in lifelong learning.


Acquire competency in areas of Microelectronics and VLSI Design,  IC Fabrication, Design, Testing, Verification and prototype development focusing on applications.
