SGSITS Successfully Hosts Inaugural Model United Nations (MUN) 2025.
The Department of Applied Chemistry, under the banner of AAROHAN 2025, proudly organized the first-ever Model United Nations (MUN) conference at SGSITS, Indore on September 20–21, 2025. The eve
nt provided a dynamic platform for students, especially from engineering and science streams, to engage in diplomacy, debate, and global 📸 Delegates engaged in committee discussions and formal debatesaffairs.
The two-day conference featured three committees—SOCHUM, Lok Sabha, and DISEC—where delegates deliberated on pressing issues such as human rights, electoral reforms, and international security. The inauguration was graced by Prof. Narulkar, while the valedictory ceremony was presided over by IPS Officer Shri Varun Kapoor and honored by Shri Sanjiv Arora. Director Prof. Neetesh Purohit also commended the students' efforts.
Participants enhanced their skills in public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking, with many first-year students showcasing remarkable confidence. The event concluded with awards for outstanding delegates and certificates for all participants.

Inspired by its success, SGSITS plans to expand the initiative into an Inter-College MUN Conference in the coming years, reinforcing our commitment to holistic education and establishing Indore as a hub for diplomatic discourse.
