Research Details:

The research work of Dr. Kaushik centred around the growth and material characterization of pure and doped transparent conducting oxide (TCO) like ZnO thin films and reveal their properties of as a highly efficient, low-cost TCO material. Correlation between the technological parameters and material properties have been studied for ZnO based thin films. His research contains the perspective and applicability of aerosol-assisted CVD technique for the cost-effective fabrication of polycrystalline TCO thin films. The possible extension of the work is to obtain small-sized structures of thin film transistors, diodes extended to the THz antenna fabricated via the homemade aerosol assisted CVD system.
