MBA Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

 PEO 1. To equip the students with requisite knowledge, skills, competencies and right attitude necessary to create efficient Managers.
 PEO 2. To develop management professionals with strong ethical values capable of assuming a significant role in Corporate and Society.
 PEO 3. To enable the students to act with creative, innovative and entrepreneurial potential with managerial and analytical tools.
 PEO 4. To foster the professional skills for employment and lifelong learning in management.
 PEO 5. To enable the students to solve real world concerns through the use of effective communication, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Program Objectives (POs)

PO 1: Management knowledge: Apply the knowledge of management fundamentals, and models for the solution of complex managerial
          problems in a dynamic corporate environment.
PO 2: Problem analysis: Research literature and identify, analyse, and formulate management research problems.
PO 3: Development of Solutions: Design and evaluate alternative solutions for complex Management problems and design system
          components or 
processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration of all micro and macro level factors.
PO 4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, 
           analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO 5: Application of management tools and techniques: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and management tools
          and  techniques including prediction and modelling techniques with an understanding of the limitations.
PO 6: Manager and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal, and cultural issues
the consequent responsibilities relevant to management practice.
PO 7: Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional management solutions in societal and environmental 
and demonstrate the knowledge of, and the need for sustainable development.
PO 8: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the management practice for making
          judicious managerial decisions.
PO 9: Individual and teamwork: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary
PO 10: Communication: Communicate effectively in an organization and management community with the society at large, such as being able
comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear   
PO 11: Project management and finance: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the management principles and apply these to one's
            work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects in multi-disciplinary environments.
PO 12: Life-long learning: Recognize the need for and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the
            broadest context of economic change.
