Dr. Sunita Varma
- About Faculty: I am a Professor at Shri G.S. Institute of Technology and Science, Indore, India, with several decades of distinguished experience in higher education, marked by sustained excellence in teaching, academic leadership, research, and institutional development. I have held long-standing leadership roles, heading major departments including Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, and MCA, and have contributed significantly to academic governance, curriculum enrichment, and outcome-based education practices. I have served multiple terms as Head of the Department (Information Technology), during which the department achieved consecutive cycles of national-level accreditation aligned with international quality benchmarks. Currently, I serve as Head of the Department, Computer Technology and Applications, overseeing academic planning and delivery of the MCA programme. My research portfolio includes publications in reputed international journals and conferences, granted patents, and supervision of doctoral scholars in emerging IT domains.
