Workshop: Intellectual Property Rights(IPR):Issues and Challenges

On 20th September 2024, a workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was organized at Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science by the Department of Applied Mathematics and computational science in collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology. The convener of the workshop was Dr. Sarla Chauhan. The program was inaugurated in the presence of the Institute's Director, Professor Vijay Rode, Dean P.P. Bansod chief guest C.P.Paul, Professor Smita Verma, and Department Head Dr. Rachna Navalakhe.
The Chief guest, was Prof. C.P. Paul from R.R. CAT, Indore, enlightened various aspects of IPR. The second lecture was delivered by Prof. Nisha Siddiqui from DAVV discussed different points related to copyright. The third lecture was delivered by, Prof. Suresh Paswan from SGSITS, provided information on what is a patent and in which fields it should be applied. The program was attended by all the faculty members and students of the department, along with invited teachers and students from other colleges.
