  • Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics is organizing a virtual training session on "Pro Structures" Software of Bentley for ME students on 30th Jan 2019.
  • Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics organised a demonstration lecture by Er. Aditya Dusane on SAP software for ME students on 21st Jan 2019.
  • Dr. H. K. Mahiyar, Professor, CE-AMD has been elected as Chairman of IGS Indore Chapter for the tenure 2019-2020.
  • Ms Sonal Garg, Assistant Professor, CE-AMD received best paper award in 51st IWWA conference organised in Indore. 
  • Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics and IGS Indore chapter organised "National Seminal on Geotechnical Problems - Case Studies" on 13th Oct 2018.
  • Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics celebrated silver Jubilee of IGS Indore Chapter.
  • Students of Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics celebrated Teacher's day.
  • Department of Civil Engineering organised two days workshop on "Soil & Highway Material Testing" in the month of July-August 2018
  • 1 month Workshop Organised by India Remote Sensing Society, S.G.S.I.T.S on “Urban Planning and Management” in year 2015-16.
  • 2 week workshop organized by IIT Kharagpur at SGSITS, on “Introdution to Structural Engineering" in year 2015-16.
  • 4 month Workshop Organised by India Remote Sensing Society, S.G.S.I.T.S on “Introduction to RS, GIS and GNSS” in 2014-15.
  • Various activities held at the Institute organized by Indian Water Resources Society Student Chapter, including visit at Sartak Dam, Omkareshwar Dam, Indira Sagar Dam and various nearby Structures in year 2015-16.
  • Civil engineering UG course got Accreditation by NBA for 6 years in year 2015.
